Say What?

When it comes to conversations or meetings with co-workers, there is a common phrase we often hear or say just before hurriedly departing.

It is: “Oh…any questions?”

There is either silence or a collective “No.”

Since no scheduled time was set aside for questions, there is an implication that none are really welcome.

Instead, say “WHAT are your questions?”

Plus, ask the question long BEFORE others need to rush off to something else.

Those tweaks will convey that you know there ARE questions, AND you genuinely want to hear them.

Small changes lead to big impact.
