Today, I’m bringing back

one of my tips with a refresh.


Got a Hot Button?


We all do.


It’s those phrases


that tend to trigger us.


Examples:

“Calm down.”

“Stop being so emotional.”

“No.”


Do you feel your blood boiling


just reading those?


Here’s the fix:


  • When you hear THAT phrase, pause & take a deep breath.


  • Focus on the message BEHIND the words.


  • Respond to the content, not the trigger.


Hot buttons = Past triggers.


Cooling them = Better conversations.
