Begin With a Smile

When we are in conflict, we tend to jump in with what we need to say.

After that, the other person(s) will jump in with what they need to say.

Then, there is a lot of back & forth talking without a lot of listening.

If you disrupt that back & forth with your smile and listening, you will change the pattern.

Your listening will convey respect and it will allow the other person to vent.

What comes next? The other person will likely mirror your actions and listen to you.

When you lead a new pattern of communication, you will impact the results.

Begin with a smile and add in some listening.
